Hey bug hunters and exterminators,

Please, oh please, can you do me and everyone else a favor? If you're
posting a patch, be sure to include some brief information that will
help all of us to grok what you are about...

Mentioning the component in the subject is great for maintainers and a
valuable hint for anyone else. Posting a bug number only in subject or
body is lousy though, and either makes all of us waste a lot of time or
increases the odds your fine code will be deleted unread. Guess which
one is more plausible with volunteer work in mind.

So please, add a few words to your post describing the bug.

Yes, this sure means slightly more work for the poster. But it also
means way less hassle for thousands of hackers who might actually end up
reading your post, rather than deleting it right away. Would be good,
wouldn't it?
