The patch looks fine to me, w/ changelog & please attach it to the bug
too (exactly not in the way the original patch was).  (if nobody else is
going to comment i will)

As to this last comment, I think it is actually more of a behavioural
bug, it is matching the appointment to the backend; it possibly has the
potential, however slight, of being useful for other backends too.

(PS isn't there an e_source_peek_uri method?).
