Yes it is unrelated to nntp. I meant bugs related to anonymous NNTP
servers such as #300258 and similar.

Exactly. The nntp provider is the only provider showing that box. This
is at least an inconsistency. Also that box causes the "@serverhost"
string in /apps/evolution/mail/accounts when modifying an USENET
account.
Hmm, so where is this password box shown? I don't see it anywhere ...
If this is the case anyway, it probably needs the whole option and support for it removed everywhere.
