looks like an issue inside etable, but since its approaching eol i guess a workaround wont hurt.

except this doesn't work - to me it makes absolutely no difference to the behaviour.  two clicks and then it never focusses again.  might need to look closer into etable, or just leave it as a bug until its replaced with a gtktreeview.

as mentioned on irc, the has_save_id thing should return true since it implements get_save_id, so that shouldn't be changed anyway.
