Committed to HEAD. It is my understanding that the 2.8 branch is still
in string freeze. Could be wrong though. This patch adds and changes
strings in the schemas.in.in file. Do we need approval for this?
Did we ever get anywhere on approval for this from gnome-18n gnome org?
Kinda, approval was for a modified version that didn't change the
existing strings and only added one new one.

That was committed to gnome-2-8.
I find that it is hard for me to keep track of this stuff just using the
maillists. I can't imagine how hard it is for you since you have a lot
more than one patch to get approval for. A bugzilla with integrated
inbound email capability might help the situation but unfortunately it
just got bumped off the bugzilla-2.20 roadmap
