Sorry for the delay, school comes first, frustratingly.

Here's the trivially-fixed version. It still has the spacing issue - it
seems like recreating the container isn't really that big a deal, given
that you're rebuilding the entire thing anyways. The plugin would have
to have some small changes to accomodate that (not freeing the extra
widgetry itself), but that's pretty simple, and would need to wait for
the container change.
Nod.  I'm still contemplating what to do here.  It isn't quite all that simple since everything goes through the same mechanism, and we can't destroy the top-level container.  I'll think on it.  The spacing issue might piss off some people, but it's a 'will be fixed by the time it becomes important' issue as far as i'm concerned.  Once I work it out i'll fix all the code up appropriately.

Well i'm happy with it, so I'm going to commit it as is.  I made a slight change to the configure stuff to avoid some duplication and neaten up all the nested if's with a case statement, and add a warning to the 'no' case.  I'll assume the calendar guys are happy enough with me making this decision like i did with the addressbook.

I'll also assume you have the copyright assigment done, I think i can recall seeing it, but I can't get to the web page right now.

Thanks for the work, it saved me having to do it, and mabye someone else understands how it works now :)
