I think this will do as is, although I had a thought on this when I mentioned it.  Perhaps the IMAP code should define this property since it actually reads it.  Can you have the property defined in the imap code but implemented in the gw code?

I guess either way it doesn't matter - with any luck we'll have something a bit more orthogonal post 2.0, so if any alternative is too tricky, this looks good as is.
