Maybe we should change that policy then. It can bork up the snapshots,
if say, someone were to upgrade only gal, and something used that API
that got removed. I think we should make the change when we make the
offending commit, and append a .1 to the package version or something,
and packages that depend on the changed API can depend on the new
version. I would much rather avoid breaking other apps that may be on
a user's system, by not changing the libtool version.
