[evolution-patches] Evolution 1.4.4 plans

Hello!

We have reached a critical mass of Evolution bug fixes worth releasing
at this point (especially the gtk_widget_get_toplevel() crash in the
calendar is good to get out).

So, our internal QA dudes, Mark and Tim, are starting to test the
current snaps out of CVS today, and I am thinking we can aim at next
Monday, July 28, for the 1.4.4 release.

Translators: unfortunately we had to add a couple strings since last
time, in order to fix some bugs.  :-(  If no unexpected delay happens,
all the translations must be committed by Monday 2pm UTC in order to
make it to the final tarball.  I know one week is not much, so please
let me know if you'd like extra time to update the translations.

Hackers: please pay extra care to not break string freeze this week.  If
you really have to do it, specify it very clearly in the subject of your
mail to evolution-patches so we can postpone committing the change to
after 1.4.4.
