The fix for 3904 is there so that you can select a message, click on an
attachment to open it, and then still be able to use up arrow and down
arrow to switch to another message, or the delete key to delete the
message. I believe your patch will make it so that this will no longer
work again, so that you'd have to click on the message list again after
opening the attachment. If so, that's annoying.
