[Evolution-hackers] [TRIVIAL] How do I prevent cvs-evolution from touching my "real" evolution mail, config etc?

Hi,

I managed to build Evolution from cvs, but I want it to leave my current
configuration, mail and what else, so that I don't risk the
cvs-Evolution to mess up my "real" Evolution and my "real" mail.

How do I start the cvs-Evolution so that it doesn't interfere at all
with my currently day-to-day used Evolution?
