Hi Michael, Bill and Padraig,
Current obstacle we faced to made evolution accessible is bonobo.
It does not support mnemonic and cannot grab focus. Evolution already
use bonobo widget at widget level. GOK relies on grab focus for UI
grab and so on.
I searched libgail-gnome's code , there seems little support
on focus.
I googled and found a mail Michael replies Gustavo(Regards). It seems that
this is a known problem and there is no plan to fix these a11y related issues.
So I want to bring forward this issue, in the hope we can re-consider this
issue.
Thanks
York
Mnemonic and BonoboWidget

I was trying to set a mnemonic label to activate a BonoboWidget.
Apparently, it doesn't work. I get a beep and this error:
Interesting indeed.
I think - really, the answer is that we tend to all agree now that
bonobo is not really suited for use at the widget level for a number of
extraneous reasons. It's really best for plugging in big bits of
software / GUI.
So ... I don't know if this is something we can fix really; especially
since it's hard to get that information (whether there is something to
activate) without more API (perhaps).
Does that make sense ? ( it's a shame for simple demos but ..)
Regards,
Michael.
