ok, could someone submit a bug to bugilla and attach some exmaple
messages which cause this behaviour? (even if you edit them to hide
info, just check they still fail).

although its worth verifying if it happens in 1.5 first, afaik there are
no plans for further 1.4 releases after the imminent 1.4.6.
