Evince 0.4.0 crashes

Hi everyone.
I've compiled it from source using poppler 0.4.2 (also compiled from
source). I can run the application. But I can't open any single document
with it. Console output says
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x1d74)!
and after this Evince crashes. Any ideas how to fix?
