Hi, evince has problems with documents generated by php-pdf (http://www.ros.co.nz/pdf/). An example is at http://www.ros.co.nz/pdf/testTable.pdf The characters on the lines with grey background are invisible (probably rendered with the same foreground color as the background) and the foreground color in all but the first lines with white background is grey instead of black, see attached screenshot. xpdf and Acrobat reader render it correctly.
