Will it supply good support for these pdf files? Evince does support PDF-1.3, I suspect your PDFs are hitting a slow path in the PDF renderer. If it's possible for you to send a link to one of these slow PDFs to the list, we can take a look and try to figure out what's going on. cheers, Kristian
