Removed xpdf source, added poppler dependency

Hi all,

I just comitted a patch to remove the xpdf source from the pdf backend 
and add a dependency on poppler.  In its current state, poppler is 
basically the xpdf source from evince, autotooled to compile as a shared 
 library:

The kpdf guys have a number of patches from their xpdf fork (string 
constification, support for printing only odd pages and some fontconfig 
integration) that they would like to add.  When that lands, kpdf will 
most likely also start using poppler.  I'm still waiting for the 
freedesktop site-wranglers to set up the CVS for poppler, but in the 
meantime, there's a tarball snapshot available from the wiki page.
