how to compile evince ?

Hi

is it possible to compile the evince 0.1.1 source code ?

$ ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --
localstatedir=/var;make ;zenity --info --text="compilation finie"
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes

no
configure: error: cannot run /bin/sh ./config.sub

it seems it lacks the config.sub 

I tried on a development fedora (rawhide) with all dependancies and gnu
tools.
