Hello, Nickolay
I report the bug to gnome-print, but they replied that it's evince
problem. Can you please have a look at the following reply?

Hi, everybody
I encountered the double-side print problem with evince, and Nickolay
replied that it may be gnome-print problem.
I don't know if this problem is reported by other one, so, please help
me to solve it.
Reading your message below I am not sure what you are expecting and what
you are indeed observing. Gnome-print does not handle even/odd page
margin adjustments. That's basically up to the application (evince in
this case).
Moreover, I believe that evince really only ships the complete
postscript code to gnome-print in which case gnome print will not
perform _any_ adjustments.

how did you imagine it to work?

For applications that use the standard gnome-print printing commands (I
doubt that evince is one of them. Try gnumeric with a duplex capable
printer.) gnomeprint will ask the printer to print duplex. It will _not_
modify the page! That's up to the application.
