I don't ever want to open anything in a new window *except* for
javascript popups with resized window and/or other similar changes to
toolbars etc, so I totally agree on this one. Firefox's tab browser
extension lets me say precisely that - open every new window in a tab
instead. I would very much like that one simple checkbox in Epiphany
or extension as well.

I can't really use either. Both force me to stop and actively look at
what I'm doing, which slows me down and breaks my flow. Especially
deskbar applet is hopeless to use, as there's not way to make it DWIM.
It just gives me a lot of unimportant choices that I have to read. A
"CTRL-T wp something something" however is pure reflex and instant.
Love it. I realize that it is a power user feature, but can't do
without it personally.
