Some opinions:
Bookmarks is a horrible metaphor, it didn't feel right in the 90's when
I first saw it, it doesn't feel right now. Saved links are more
equivalent of entries in an address book (which I don't propose as a
name;-) or reminders on sticky notes. Hell, a refridgerator might be a
more appropriate metaphor at that, that's where "remember to visit
Slashdot" or "driving directions to Google" would go in many families.
;-)
As for names...
I don't think the whole menu should be called Links. It isn't what
those things are, even less so in the minds of users. A feed is not a
link. A search is not a link. That it uses a link underneath to do the
search or reach the feed is somewhat irrelevant, it's not what the look
like or how they behave. And as soon as another entry is added to those
four, chances are it'll break down even further.
Links might be appropriate as another name for what you want to call
Bookmarks though. I think of them as Shortcuts, which could be another
suggestion.
Favourites is pretty good for the whole menu, except for History...
Favourite Links, Favourite Feeds, Favourite Searches, Favourite
Whatevers. It doesn't feel like a good name for just the links either
though, since I think both searches and feeds would be just as much
"favourite" as any link.
Maybe a boring plain word like "Saved" or "Stored" is the way to go...
Saved Links, Saved Feeds, Saved Searches, Saved History, Saved
Whatevers. That says what it is, at least.
