Looking for an easier way of opening a new tab

Dear All

I think an easier way of opening a new tab with the help of the mouse
should be implemented; as it is now, one has to go to

File --> New Tab

which is a long way. Of course, once could use the keyboard, but it
sometimes is not the desirable.

Do you agree with this feature request?
