The problem there is that FC1 is on legacy support only; when I tell it,
as root, "yum update epiphany," I get "No Packages Available for Update No
actions to take"

So can I go with "rpm -Uvh" against an rpm somewhere, *without* getting
hung up in dependency hell? I finally gave up Galeon (which had been my
favorite) altogether because of that.

Hmmm .... Reading the discussion, it doesn't sound like it's going
anywhere in the foreseeable future.

Many thanks! Can I just rm the whole file? Or do I have to edit it and
delete all the contents, leaving an empty file? Or ...? I get
                   =====
[root localhost epiphany]# cat cookies.txt | more
# HTTP Cookie File
# http://www.netscape.com/newsref/std/cookie_spec.html
# This is a generated file! Do not edit.
# To delete cookies, use the Cookie Manager.
[....]
                   =====
I don't see any "Cookie Manager." But under Edit > Personal Data I do get
a thing called a Personal Data Manager, which seems to be that hiding
under a euphemism ...
