I have been through the same routine, and I have probably got about a
1000 bookmarks as well.

I would have to _somewhat_ agree with you :-) However I am now back to
using Galeon for two reasons:
1) Case sensitivity. It was impossible for me to find anything, since I
could't remember exactly how is was written.
2) My bookmarks menu was probably the length of 3 screens! In other
words impossible to use...
1) has been fixed now, but I have yet to try it out. However I don't
think it would be enough, since I would still have way to many categoris
to remember even a small part of them.
Just another opinion. I still think the direction Epiphany is going is
the right one, but just not for me right now.
