[Ekiga-list] Ekiga stopped working

Hi all, I hope I'm doing this correctly--

I have been using Ekiga now for a couple of weeks mainly because it works,
it's easy to use, and I can use it with my Gizmo account. I use it on an AMD
machine running Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, and this morning I was alerted to
updates to certain files-- the Synaptic Package Manager history shows:

"Upgraded the following packages:
libdecoration0 (1:0.5.5~git20070912+3v1ubuntu0) to 1:
0.5.5~git20070917+3v1ubuntu1
libpt-1.10.0 (1.10.7~dfsg1-5~feisty.4490) to 1.10.9-1~feisty.4506
libpt-plugins-alsa (1.10.7~dfsg1-5~feisty.4490) to 1.10.9-1~feisty.4506
libpt-plugins-v4l (1.10.7~dfsg1-5~feisty.4490) to 1.10.9-1~feisty.4506
libpt-plugins-v4l2 (1.10.7~dfsg1-5~feisty.4490) to 1.10.9-1~feisty.4506"

After these were installed, I restarted my computer (simply to reboot into
Windows for a quick update there). When I returned to Ubuntu, Ekiga would
not start. I started it using the terminal and got this message:

"ekiga: error while loading shared libraries: libpt.so.1.10.7: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory"

I believe I am running Ekiga 2.0.9, and I have some issues trying to build
the latest 2.0.11 version. What should I do? Should I remove all of the
packages I updated and then reinstall them through the Ekiga download
section to make sure they work with Ekiga 2.0.9?

Thanks for the help!
Zach
