Re: [Ekiga-list] Trying to install 2.0.5

Manuel Mendez a écrit :
I have been using 2.0.3 that came standard with Ubuntu, but I wanted to
upgrade. I was doing okay installing the other libraries but when I tried to
configure I got this:

checking for EKIGA... configure: error: Package requirements (gtk+-2.0 >=
2.6.0 gthread-2.0 >= 2.4.0 esound >= 0.2.28 gconf-2.0 >= 2.2.0 libgnome-2.0>=
2.2.0 libgnomeui-2.0 >= 2.2.0) were not met:

No package 'gtk+-2.0' found
No package 'gthread-2.0' found
No package 'esound' found
No package 'gconf-2.0' found
No package 'libgnome-2.0' found
No package 'libgnomeui-2.0' found

If someone could help I would really appreciate it.

If you don't understand this explicit error message, then probably you shouldn't try to compile ekiga yourself ; did you check if we had packages available on the site ?
