Hi guys
I'm currently testing Ekiga/SIP as packaged with Debian Etch behind a
netfilter NAT/PAT firewalling router, which runs Debian Etch either.
Yesterday, I also installed siproxd on the router and configured
Ekiga to use it as an outbound proxy (nat traversal method: none).
While Ekiga registers with the proxy alright, I don't seem to be able
to make outbound calls though. For comparision purposes, I tried
Twinkle in the very same setup and it works OK.
So before running into a protocol/network level debug fest, may I ask
whether is this a known (interoperability) issue? Any advice on how
this could be fixed without upgrading to latest versions of either
software?
Thanks very much, B.
