   pwlib 1.10.4, configured with

./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-plugins --disable-oss --enable-v4l2

refuses to compile on my Slackware 11.0 box:

etc.

   Also, I noticed that the configure file for 2.0.5 strongly
recommends not to disable Gnome support:

  --disable-gnome        Remove GNOME support. Don't do this, it
removes essential features

   Which are those essential features?
