Thanks for the info. I did finally track down the btsco. The problem I'm
having now is when I run btsco 00:16:8F:17:A6:94 & (00:16:8F:17:A6:94
is the output from hcitool.scan).
I keep getting:

Error: Failed to connect to SDP server: Permission denied
Assuming channel 2

Can't connect RFCOMM channel: Permission denied

I tried the sugggestion on littleowl website (apparently Ubunta has the
same problem). Bit it didn't work for me.

Also, I can't compile bluez utils because I get this error:
libhciserver.a(dbus-common.o): In function `unregister_sdp_record':
dbus-common.c:(.text+0x90): undefined reference to
`sdp_device_record_unregister_binary'
libhciserver.a(dbus-common.o): In function `register_sdp_binary':
dbus-common.c:(.text+0x106): undefined reference to
`sdp_device_record_register_binary'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [hcid] Error 1

`/home/george/Downloads/ALSA-BT-SCO/bluez-utils-3.9/hcid'
make[2]: *** [all] Error 2

`/home/george/Downloads/ALSA-BT-SCO/bluez-utils-3.9/hcid'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/george/Downloads/ALSA-BT-SCO/bluez-utils-3.9'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Even with these errors. The "headset" shows up as an audio device, but
doesn't work.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I just can't understand how root couldn't have permissions to access the
devices.

Thanks Again,
George
