Hmm, ekiga cvs crashes on me also after selecting Call -> Quit
from menu. So no gmon.out gets generated :-(
I have found that with 2.0.2 during the first part of call
to 500 at ekiga.net (when no remote video is being sent), the load is
1-2% CPU time for ekiga, and 5-7% for Xorg. In the second part
(displaying both local and remote video) ekiga gets about 7-10% CPU time,
while X.org gets 10-13%. With today's CVS, it is about 20-25% for ekiga
and 30-35% for Xorg in the first part. In the second part it is 45-55% for
ekiga and 40-50% for Xorg. So maybe ekiga does some kind of refresh more often,
does not use X SHM, or something like that? The interesting part is that
the X server CPU time _also_ increases with today's CVS.

: ekiga-devel-list at gnome.org)
Hmm, I am short of time today, so for now I am returning back
to 2.0.2. I will hopefully try in few weeks again, and report to
ekiga-devel-list then.
-Y.
