TARBALLS DUE: GNOME 2.12.1 Stable Release

Hi everyone,

Tarballs are due on Monday October 3rd (next Monday) for the GNOME
2.12.1 Stable Release, which will be delivered on Wednesday.

We decided on some guidelines about making releases for the 2.13 release
cycle. This is also valid for 2.12 stable releases. The two most
important items are:

   + Tarballs are due by 23:59 UTC on the Monday specified
   + If possible, try to make releases no sooner than 3 days before the
     tarballs are due. If you need to release early, a simple
     notification to gnome-i18n and gnome-doc-list would be helpful.
