Any plans to allow changing keyboard layout in screensaver?

The layout changed to another one in my layouts list, and i had to 
struggle thru to login quite a few times. KDE's allows layout changes in 
the screensaver. I think this really should be on the development plan. 
I'm on 2.8.0.

P.S. Sorry, couldn't find a more relevant place to ask, cause there 
doesn't appear to be a desktop-users list.
