FWIW, I am under the impression that Carlos should be given a clear head
with what parts of his module he wants to add or remove. The same as I
enjoy being able to make decisions on what applets we ship.

Not to say that his decisions shouldn't be informed by the GNOME
community at large, but he shouldn't need approval to add new
components.

Of course, if the release team decide they don't want a particular
component, I guess it's within their right to ask for it to be turned
off. Just like they could do with any module I suppose.

I too would like to see this component shipped.
