Well, the reason I was thinking was that I might know the name of the
application I want to show or hide, but I might not know off-hand which
menu it was on. But I suppose that's a corner case.
Another possibility would be just to make the list of menus
multi-selectable, I suppose, which is a bit less discoverable but at
least you might try it if you were desperate :)
