Checklist of things to do in GTK+ programs

Hi,

I've started a checklist of things that GTK+ programs need to do to be
good citizens.  Please see here:

Right now the checklist includes just two items:

	- Use the GtkWidget::popup-menu signal
	- Use GdkEventExpose->region rather than ->area

The intention is to have a good list of things that people often forget
to do when writing GTK+ programs.  Does anyone have other suggestions or
pet peeves that would be good to have in the checklist?
