That's not really a good reason to put it in. The Gentoo user base has
shown interest to have it in, but little effort to port the more
difficult backends. I doubt that will change, there's only more pressure
on us devs to do it.
The last look i had at it (a few versions ago) i thought part of the
functionality wasn't all that generic. For example, i think the runlevel
tool is going to be difficult to port & use in Gentoo.
Besides that I don't think system administration should be part of a
general desktop release, it still is an admin only thing.
