Bitstream Vera Fonts in 2.4?

With all this talk of new modules I don't think I heard any
mention of the bitstream vera fonts being distributed with
gnome.
If this is possible then I really think that it would be a great
idea. Gnome looks SO much better with the bitstream fonts used by
default.
Maybe they need to do in to X instead, donno....
