A random idea: I think it would be cool if Galeon morphed into a set of
extensions for Epiphany (which would probably need a bunch of API
hooks).
Personally I do appreciate Epiphany's cleanliness a lot, but there are
some things from Galeon that I really use (cookie blocking and image
blocking being the two big ones). I can block cookies right now using
Epiphany, but I get the abysmally ugly Mozilla XUL dialog for it.
Just like how Microsoft ships IE, but tons of third parties can write
extensions to make it do all sorts of things.
I'm not sure exactly how it would be enabled; obviously if you install
galeon you don't want epiphany to have the new dialogs and menu items
for all users. Probably you'd have to set a gconf key to get it.
Anyways, just a thought.
