Right, but first things first. First we do how to configure the app to
use to edit text (MIME spec), and have some shared form of IPC
(e.g. D-BUS), then it's a simple step to combine the two into some way
to talk to the app that edits text. If we don't go in order we're
likely to end up with some wacky hacks.
