I talked with alex l. on irc yesterday about those, and it appears that
most of those are design patents. Basically they cover apple's design of
the trash can, window border buttons and itunes etc. Why they need a
patent as oppose to just copyright perplexes me.
There is a long history with Apple and design patents. They easiest way is
to say that Apple likes them and has been reasonably successful in
enforcing them in the past.
