Actually, libxklavier is not a part of gnome project (well, probably at 
some point it will be put under freedesktop.org cover) - it does not use 
any gnome libs at all (besides libxml). So look at 
http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/gswitchit - there you find CVS details.
