Speaking with my distro hat on, it would be much easier to keep this
available if it were somewhere that made more sense than the panel
right-click menu. When put there, it is obscure enough not to be
terribly useful as an advertisement for GNOME while at the same time
over-cluttering a menu.

P.S. FWIW, we did leave it in the panel context menu in XD2, mainly for
lack of time to move it anywhere better.
