It works with 0.6.1.2 i m almost sure you are using a parallel 0.6.0 installation which crash on that.. Try the about box of totem it will tell you the backend version.

Try again being sure PKG_CONFIG_PATH will catch 0.6.1.2 and not the local 0.6.0
