So here is the current failure in libbonobo CVS:

The orbit-idl invocation was:

-D__Bonobo_Activation_types_COMPILATION --imodule ../idl/Bonobo.idl
orbit-idl-2 2.7.0 compiling
  mode, show preprocessor errors, passes: stubs skels common headers
skel_impl
 

which does not seem to have resulted in generating Bonobo.h
