spacing/shadowing inconsistencies

Hey,

While looking through some dialogs in gnome2 i noticed they all are
horrible inconsistent wrt spacing and shadowing. For example, some
scrolledwindows have no shadow, some have raised, some have in, and some
have groove as shadowing. The same with spacing, sometimes there is a
8-pixel border around treeviews, sometimes 0-pixel, or sometimes 2.
This gives things an iconsistent and unpolished look, IMHO it would be
great if we could create some kind of standard for this, and then have
every module maintainer fix all dialogs in his module. That way we can
have a kickass and super consistent desktop.
