help with a bug

i'd like to request a little help with bug #73835.

i could reproduce it, and then fixed it, and haven't been able to
reproduce it since.  quite a few people running gnome 2 on ppc linux
boxes had the same bug, and it is now fixed for them.

so, can anyone using a recent build on solaris reproduce it?  can anyone
remember it not working before, and it works now?
