Re: having a default panel applet in gnome-applets

Hey Mark. Can the panel just check for the mixer applet binary and add it to
the default panel if it is installed? I think we should do several transfers
between gnome-applets and gnome-panel - move fish, mailcheck to
gnome-applets, mixer to gnome-panel, but it seems to me we can put that off
till later to avoid any headaches (after having gone through too many failed
make dists by now).
