Problem with save-session

Hi,

I have implemented session management in an application.
I added command line options to my application so that the entire 
session information can be saved using  RestartCommand.

Sometimes save-session command does not store these command line options 
in .gnome2/session file.
If I issue save-session command again , then it stores my command line
options.

Could anyone please clarify why this is happening ?
