I, a humble user, like the Klarth theme better as well. The separation of the close button and the resize buttons seems to be a nice UI improvement, IMHO. Keeping Windows users from being too confused (i.e. close button on the right), while making this separation seems to be a win-win. The other reasons put forth sound attractive as well.
Why not turn the question around for a moment? That is, what makes Crux so attractive as a default as opposed to the other themes?
Cheers,
andrew
