Some apps on windows have an equivalent. Corel Draw is one such app.
Usually they call it a "roll up" button, which usually has an "up arrow
pointing at horizontal line" style icon (which I think would be much
more intuitive than the current horizontal line icon). Something like this:

Of course, the horizontal line icon is probably more identifiable to
clasic MacOS users (does MacOS X have a rollup/shade button?)
